Came over from DogPatch's site in 2011, great articles from NewBoy and other former bethelites made it obvious JW were just another religious organization, not at all what they claimed to be. Found it to be a great resource.
Solid year or two of daily reading over here until I handed in my DA. Great site, seems to have gone south for awhile last 3 1/2 years on account of divisive usa politics and aggressive posturing..

i have no fear of public speaking.
i was a shy kid, fat, clumsy, with crooked glasses and worse teeth, who wore hand-me-downs in one of the wealthiest counties in all of america, who sat still while classmates got up to salute the flag or recite the pledge of allegiance.

Getting used to social settings where there are lots of good smelling well dressed women around. I had lived under a rock ( more like in a machine shop ) for the first few decades of my life. I don't miss any of it really but at least it's good to know I can be at ease in social settings where there's lots of people

Simon, thing is she counted time for purchasing said card, thinking about and writing a message, purchasing a stamp and then actually mailing it. Could be an extra hour or two on the senders monthly report, depending.. Is how they operate I've seen it up close and personal. ( I was an elders study )
